Committee formed to Celebrate DPRK Historic Occasions

Kathmandu: 

August 15, 2015 marks the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Korea from the Japanese colonial rule and October 10 of this year also marks the 70th anniversary of the Founding of the glorious Workers' Party of Korea. To Celebrate these two historic occasions of our friendly country- DPR of Korea and Korean people, 11-member "Nepal National Preparatory Committee to Celebrate 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Korea and Founding of the Workers' Party of Korea" is formed under the Chairmanship of Hon. C. P. Mainali, General Secretary of Communist Party of Nepal (Marxist-Leninist) and Chairman of Nepal National Memorial Commission for President KIM IL SUNG and Comrade KIM JONG IL amidst a special meting held in Kathmandu.

 In the Committee, Prof. Manik Lal Shrestha, Chairman of Nepal-Korea Friendship Association and Prof. Nil Bir Singh Kansakar, Vice-Chairman of Nepal Institute for Juche Studies are its Vice-Chairmen with Dr. Manju Ratna Sakya, President of Nepal Journalists' Association is the Secretary General and Mr. Phanindra Raj Pant, General Secretary of Nepal Association for Supporting Songun Policy is the Secretary of the committee with Mr. Subash Kaji Shrestha, Manik Lama, Dr. Gopal Pokharel "Biwash", Shanker Bharati and Miss Daya Singh are its members.

 The Committee also fully supported the struggle of the Korean people and extended solidarity in their struggle to achieve independent and peaceful reunification of Korea and march forward to gain the final victory of the Juche cause, the cause of the Korean revolution started by President KIM IL SUNG and practically developed by Comrade KIM JONG IL and now carrying forward towards  the  victory  by  the Supreme  Leader  of  the  Korean  people,  party  and  army  Marshal KIM JONG UN.
