Pakistan civil award decorated to Dr. Sakya

 Kathmandu : H.E. the Ambassador of Pakistan Mr. Arshed Saud Khosa decorated Pakistan Civil Award "Tamgha-i-Pakistan" to Dr. Manju Ratna Sakya with certificate amidst a special and attractive ceremony of Nepal-Pakistan Friendship & Cultural Association (NPFCA) organized on the occasion of 69th Independence Day of Pakistan on 14th August 2015.

The Certificate of Award was signed by H.E. Mamoon Hussian, President of Pakistan.

Before handing over the Pakistan Civil Award Tamgha-i-Pakistan and the Certificate to Dr.  Sakya, DCM & Counsellor of Embassy of Pakistan Mr. Javed Ahmed Umrani read out the Citation.

Dr. Sakya who is the General Scretary of NPFCA was decorated by the Pakistan Ambassador before Rt. Hon’ble Vice President Mr. Parmanada Jha, Guest Speakers and distingiushed personalities of Nepal at Hotel Radisson.

After receiving Pakistan Civil Award, Dr. Sakya said though he received the Award but that Award belongs to Nepal and Nepalese people also.

Dr. Sakya, is the General Secretary of NPFCA who is aligned with this Association since 4 decades, said  after receiving the  Award, he will be more younger and stronger to devote his whole  life to promote the existing friendly relations between Nepal and Pakistan.

Dr. Sakya expressed thanks to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mamoon Hussian for the decoration.

Likewise, Dr. Sakya wished a long life, good health and prosperity of the President H.E. Mannoon Hussian and Prime Minister H.E. Nawaz Sharif of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
