Nepalese Journalists Delegation Arrived from China

 Kathmandu:

The Six members high level Nepalese journalists delegation led by President of Nepal Journalists Association (NJA) Dr.Manju Ratna Sakya arrived Kathmandu after nearly two weeks successful visit to China and Hongkong. Nepalese journalist delegation were kindly invited by All China Journalist Association (ACJA), Beijing.

  The NJA and  ACJA have the exchange of visit programe since 1982.

During their stay in Beijing, the Executive Secretary and Member of the Board of Leadership of ACJA, Honble. Mr. Zhu Shouchen hosted a grand Welcome Dinner to Nepalese journalist delegation at its Central Office in No.7 Zhushikou East Street, Dongcheng Street. At the Welcome Dinner, Chief of Asia Division Mr.Zhang Yang, International Liason Department Deputy Chief Ms.Wang Lin, Mrs.Ma Yu an and Ms.Zhang Jianging were also present.

During their stay in Beijing, they visited National Museum of China. They also visited office of China Daily at 15 Huixin Dongjie where Deputy Editor in Chief Mr. Wang Hao and New Media Director Mr. Ke Rongyi gave detail progress report of China Daily.

Besides that the delegation also visited office of Peoples Railway Daily at 3 Beifengwo Avenue, Haidian District where President Mr. Wangxiong briefed on the Peoples Railway Daily Newspaper.

The delegation also visited China Internet Information Center at 6 Building B, 89 Xisanhuan Beilu of Beijing  where Editor of English Dept. Mrs. Li Huiru , Mr. Liu Qiang and  other journalist friends briefed on the  activities of the Centre.

Likewise, during their stay in Guangzhou, they visited the office of Guangzhou Daily Group at 10 Tongle Road where President of Guangzhou Daily and  BOD Chairman of Guangdong Guangzhou Daily Media Co.Ltd Mr. Gu Jianqing, Directors of International Relation Mr. Shunjing Lu and  Dirctor of Integrated Media Center Mr. Qiu Min as well as Ms. Rolly briefed about the progress of Guangzhou Daily Newspaper.

The delegation also visited Nanfang Media Group where Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of Guangdong Provincial Communist Party Committee, President of Nanfang Media Group, Chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Journalists Association Mr. Mo Gaoyi, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nanfang Media Group, CEO of Southcn.com Mr. Ouyang Nongyue and  CEO of the South Cultural Equity Exchange Mr. Zhibing Zhang briefed the achievements & progress of  Nanfang Media Group.

The Nepalese delegation also visited local Community in Liwan District in Guangzhou where olders were happily staying. They also visited two villages in Zhuha City also. Executive Seretary of Zhuhai Municipality Journalist Association Mr. Song Li, Ms Wang Ying and Ms. Chen Mantrang also kindly gave detail about Zhuhai City.

The delegation also met the leaders at Beijing and Guangzhou. In the delegation Mr.Mohan Bir Thapa and  Mr. Hari Gopal Pradhan were also included.

Where ever the Nepalise journalist delegation visited in China and Hongkong, they were accorded warm wel come and kind hospitality.
