Details of Free Medical Service of  Nepalese Doctors who graduated from Pakistan

                Kathmandu : The Nepalese Doctors who graduated from friendly country, Pakistan have rendered Free Medical Services  successfully to 285 persons at the programme of Free Medical Camp on 12th April 2014.

                The Free Medical Camp was organized by Nepal-Pakistan Friendship & Cultural Association which was held at Paropakar High School of Bhimsensthan, Kathmandu.

                The Free Medical Camp was jointly inaugurated by  Hon’ble Vice Chairman of Constituent Assembly Ms. Onsari Gharti Magar, H.E. Ambassador of Pakistan Mr. Arshed Saud Khosa and President of Nepal-Pakistan Friendship & Cultural Association  Mr. Himalaya Shumsher Rana.

                At the Inaugural Ceremony, Hon’ble CPN-ML General Secretary Mr. C.P. Mainali, Leader of the Different Political Parties, Advocates, Professors, Doctors, Medical Assistants, Media Persons, Executives of Friendship Association & Pakistan Study Centre as well as large numbers of people from various walks of life were present.

                At the same grand ceremony, Head of Chancery Mr. Nazar Hussain, Counsellor Mr. Shehzad Aziz, Defence Attache Col. Syed Abbas Ali, First Secretary Mr. Faisal Usman and Faisal Qayyam Shah as well as other distinguished personalities of Embassy of Pakistan were present.

                Likewise, Saarc Director Mr. Ahmar Ismail was also present.

In the Camp, the following free medical services were provided:

a)  Fasting and P.P. Blood Sugar Check up

b)  Blood Pressure Check up

c)  Neuropathy Check up

d)  Retinopathy Check up (Eye Retina)

e)  Orthopedic Check up

f)   Obstetrician & Gynecology

g)  Kidney

h)  Pediatrician (Children)

i)   Dermalogy

j)   ECG Checkup and other many General Services.

                The following Nepalese Doctors participated in the Camp.

They are as follows:

1.    Dr. Prabin Bahadur Pradhan, Orthopedic Surgeon

2.    Prof. Dr. Om Krishna Malla,  Eye Surgeon

3.    Dr. Anjana Karki, Obstetrician & Gynecologist

4.    Dr. Ramesh Malla, Consultant Pediatrician

5.    Dr. Udaya Man Singh Dangol,  Urologist

6.    Dr. Rano Mal Piryani

7.    Dr. Suman K. Shrestha, GI Surgeon, Laparoscopic Surgeon

8.    Dr. Roushan Jahan, Child Specialist

9.    Dr. Najla Khatun, Child Specialist

10.  Dr. Bindu Pandey, General Practice

11.  Dr. Bharat Bahadur Amatya, Pathology

12.  Dr. Deepankar Prajapati, Cardiologist

13.  Dr. Rabin Bahadur Basnet, General Surgery

14.  Dr. Ritu  Pradhan

15.  Dr. Dipendra Bahadur Amatya

16.  Dr. Rabin Bahadur Basnet, General Surgery

17.  Dr. Bibek Baniya, Cardiologist

                According to the General Secretary of the Friendship Association Dr. Manju Ratna Sakya, free medicines were also served to all the persons who checked up in that service.

                In the Camp, Nepal Diabeties Society also contributed their services with the concerning Medical equipments.

                The Free Medical Camp was started at 8.15 am and ended at 3.30pm.

Nepalese Doctors expressed thanks to Pakistan

Likewise, a Group of Nepalese Doctors who graduated from friendly country, Pakistan had expressed thanks to Nepal- Pakistan Friendship & Cultural Association for giving them the opportunity in providing Free Medical services specially to the lower and depressed classes of Kathmandu on 12th April 2014.

They also expressed sincere thanks to the Government of Pakistan for providing the higher education in MD and MBBS from different University and Colleges from Pakistan since many years.

These Nepalese Doctors also expressed sincere thanks to the Ambassador of Pakistan H.E. Arshed Saud Khosa for kindly inaugurating the Free Medical Camp and delivering the courageus address to the Nepalese people. They also hope that mutual friendly relations between Nepal and Pakistan will definately strengthen in future due to Free Medical Service to Nepalese people.

The meeting was held at Hotel Orchid on 18th April 2014 which was participated by the Nepalese Doctors who graduated from Pakistan as well as some medical assistants.

In the same meeting, they also desired to participate in each and every programmes of Free Medical Camp and requested to Friendship Association to organize similar Camp in Kavre, Kaski and some   remote areas to render Free Medical Services specially on Orthopedic and Gynecology to the lower and depressed people of that areas.
