  International Conference for US Abandonment of its Hostile Policy Towards DPRK held

Pyongyang :
The International Conference for US Abandonment of its Hostile Policy Towards the DPRK was held successfully amidst a special function here to day on 17 Feb. 2007.

In this international conference delegates from Eighteen countries including Nepal, India, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Ecuador, Switzerland, Bangladesh, Philippines Germany, Egypt, Denmark, Magnolia, Iran, Tanzania, Russian and China had participated. Likewise, seven international organizations Viz, General Federation of Trade Union of Korea (GFTUK), Korean committee for supporting with the world people (KCSWP), Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, Korean Democratic Women Union (KDWU), Korean National Peace Committee (KNPC) Korean Committee for Asia & Africa Solidarity (KCAAS), Korean Democratic Lawyers Association (KDLA) are the participants Honorable Mr. K.S. Rao, Lok Sabha Member from India and Mr. Song Soul Guan General Director from China are also participate.

In the conference Mr. Kamal Haider, General Secretary of Bangladesh Peace Council, Mr. Martin Lotscher Swiss committee supporting independent and peaceful renunciation of Korea, H.E. Dr. TSAKHILGAAND of Mangolia, Dr. Trotsky Serrano C. President of Ecuador, Mr. Norma G. Minas, Vice President for External Affairs of Philippines and delegates from Denmark, Tanzania, Japan & Arab also gave the Key note speech. Where as the Chairman of KCSWP presented a supplementary report.

The international conference which was held in YANGGAKDO international Hotel of Pyongyang, the placards of "Let us strengthen solidarity with the peace loving forces of the world" and "Let us smash the war Maneuver of the US imperialists and safe guard Global Peace and Security" are displayed
At the function, a letter "To the congress of the U.S.A" and An Appeal "To the world Progressive People

Loving Justice and Peace" also read out and passed unanimously.
The programe was organized by KCSWP which was chaised by Mr. Raymond Ferdons. National Secretary of Australia DPRK Friendship Society.

The international conference which was attended by more than Sixty delegates from different countries including Nepal, India as well as China international organization also passed a resolution wishing a long life and good health of the Great Leader of the Korean People H.E. comrade KIM JONG IL.
Mr. Manju Ratna Sakya, President of Nepal Journalists Association who is visiting DPRK leading the six members Nepalese high level delegation participated in the international conference. The Nepalese Journalists delegation is in Pyongyang at the official invitation of the Govt. of DPRK.

President KIM IL SUNG and Comrade KIM JONG SUK registered "Honorary Special Member of NJA"
Kathmandu, Nepal Journalists Association (NJA) has a great privilege to resister "The Honorary Special Member of NJA’ to the President KIM IL SUNG and Great Mother of Korea Comrade KIM JONG SUK on the auspicious occasion of 15th anniversary of KIM JONG IL’s election in the post of Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army and 89th Birth Anniversary of the Mother o Korea Comrade KIM JONG SUK.
The Certificate of this honor was handed over by Mr. Manju Ratna Sakya, President of Nepal Journalists Association of His Excellency Mr. Hwang Yong Hwan, Ambassador of DPRK to Nepal at a special function organized by NJA on 20th Dec. 2006.
