Myanmar-Nepal Relations very friendly; Ambassador
Kathmandu: 8th Jan 2006 NJA organized a reception in honour of Ambassador of th Union of Myanmar, U Aung Khin Soe at Hotel Soaltee said ‘Myanmar and Nepal have been enjoying cordial relations based on the traditional ties of friendship for a long time and our two people are linked together by similar values in various areas and share similarities in cultural heritage. ‘
‘The establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries in 1960 broadened the scope of the friendly ties between us’ he said.
Envoy U Aung Khin Soe further said that the friendly, good neighboring relations between our two countries shall continue to enhance to our mutual benefits in the years to come and express his sincere, warm wishes towards Nepal and the Nepalese people.
Ambassador Soe said that he would remain committed to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.
