Victory Day Celebrated

            Kathmandu : A Congratulatory talk program is jointly organized by Nepal Journalists Association and NJA Studying for Juche Idea and Songun Policy to  mark the International Solidarity Month with the Struggle of the Korean People,(June 25- July 27) and to celebrate the Victory Day, July 27, in the Korean War 1950-53.

            The program was chaired by Dr. Manju Ratna Sakya, President of Nepal Journalists Association where Hon. C. P. Mainali, Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal and General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) graced the program as Chief Guest.

            Chief Guest Hon. C.P. Mainali said -"Nepal Government has continuously supported the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea and permanent peace in Korean Peninsula. Our party CPN (ML) has congratulated the Korean people for their 7th Party Congress and wished great success to the Chairman Marshal KIM JONG UN to carry out the decisions taken by the historic 7th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea."

            Special guest Ms. Rekha Yadhav, who is the Polit Bureau Member of Federal Socialist Forum party of Nepal also highlighted the friendly and mutual relationship between Nepal and DPR Korea and expressed solidarity with the Korean people for their just struggle.

            Prof. Dr. Gopal Pokharel "Biwash", General Secretary of Afro-Asian Peoples’ Solidarity Organization of Nepal extended solidarity of the Nepalese people to the Korean people in their sacred struggle to achieve the final victory of the Korean revolution.

            Senior Journalist Mr. Ram Rijhan Yadhav expressed happiness on the recent developments in the self reliance and revolutionary Songn policy of the DPRK.

             General Secretary of Nepal Association for Supporting Songun Policy Mr. Phanindra Raj Pant briefed on the army-first Songun policy and said that the unique Songn policy has enabled DPRK to safeguard its sovereignty and dignity in the world.

            President of Nepal Journalists Association and Chairman of the program Dr. Manju Ratna Sakya said that the Korea has become a powerful socialist nation without having any political problem under the guidance of the great leaders President KIM IL SUNG, Great Leader KIM JONG IL and Chairman Marshal KIM JONG UN.

            The program was attended by intellectuals, journalists, politicians and personalities from different walks of Nepalese life.
